At the very outset, I welcome the students seeking admission in Mahila Mahavidhyalaya, Jhojhu Kalan in the session 2020-21. Being the head of this prestigious, it is my honest duty to be instrumental in the progress and development of my students. On behalf of the College Management, my subordinates and other members of the staff, I assure my pupils and their guardians that best efforts will be done on our part for the betterment of our students. The maxim that teachers are water tanks and students are water taps will be acted upon. Mahaila Mahavidhyalaya, Jhojhu Kalan is like an oasis in a desert. Being nestled in a purely rural area, the college has some rare qualities to its credit. Situated in the lap of Mother Nature, far from the curse of environmental pollution and urbanization, the college provides fresh, bucolic and natural atmosphere to its students which is conducive for growth of their brain and brawn. That is why Wordsworth�s Lucy like innocence and originality is found in our girl students. Women Education is essential in India in general and in rural India in particular. In spite of continuous efforts by our governments, male-female ratio of literacy is still now. There is a lot to be done for female education, particularly in rural areas. We should keep in mind that if you educate a boy, you educate an individual. But if You educate a girl, You educate a family. A woman makes a home out oa a house. So If a woman is educated, its effects are far reaching. Only through women education, the evils prevailing in present society like-feticide, infanticide, child marriage, dowry deaths, bride burning etc. can be wiped out. This is my sincere advice to my students that they should work hard. Without it nothing worthwhile can be achieved in life. Aristotle well said, �The root of education is bitter but its fruit is sweet.� Knowledge is power and to possess this power, students should work with honesty and sincerity. You should keep your mental antenna up. You should keep your mind open to imbibe knowledge because the toughest thing in this world is to open a close mind. You must be active, responsive and communicative in our college campus and class rooms. It gives me immense pleasure to point out that our college is accredited �B� grade by NAAC. It�s a big achievement on the part of our college. In the last, I pray to Almighty to grant success to all our students going to be under our wings in the forthcoming academic session i.e. 2022-23.
